Where is the MENA Guesthouse located?

The MENA Guesthouse is located in Marlengo, near Merano, in the Merano region.
It offers a quiet, rural setting while being just a few minutes away from the spa town of Merano.

What types of accommodation does MENA offer?

We offer stylish guest rooms as well as spacious apartments in the main house.
In addition, the Bacchus apartment is part of the property as a separate unit.

Do all units have a kitchen?

Yes, all units offer cooking facilities. The two guest rooms have a smaller kitchenette, 
ideal for preparing simple meals. The larger apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen.

How are the kitchens equipped?

All kitchens and kitchenettes include:

• dishwasher (including tabs)

• refrigerator

• kettle

• coffee machine

• basic kitchen utensils

Additional appliances such as a toaster or table grill can be borrowed free of charge on site.

Apartments have a 4-plate stovetop, while the guest rooms have a 2-plate stovetop.

Is the MENA Guesthouse open all year round?

Yes, the MENA Guesthouse is open year-round and is an ideal base for a stay in the Merano region in every season.

Is there a pool?

Yes, guests have access to a seasonal outdoor pool with a sunbathing area. It is usually open from around May to October, depending on the weather.

​

Is there a sauna?

Our private sauna, located in a separate bungalow, can be booked exclusively and offers a quiet place to retreat. The new rooms and apartments in the main house are also equipped with an infrared shower for gentle warmth.

Is there a lift?

Yes, the main house has a lift, making all floors easily accessible. 

 

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is not included in the overnight rate. A breakfast basket with regional products (€12 per person) can be added. It is complemented by a small buffet selection. Alternatively, we offer a bread delivery service.

What payment methods are available?

Payment can be made in cash or by common credit cards. If you prefer to pay the remaining balance by bank transfer, we kindly ask you to do so before arrival.

Are pets allowed?

We kindly ask for your understanding that pets are not allowed at the MENA Guesthouse.

​

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is possible between 3:00 pm and 8:30 pm.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask for check-out between 7:30 am and 10:00 am.

As we live in the house ourselves, individual times can be arranged upon request.

What is the MeranoCard / MobilCard?

As a guest at the MENA Guesthouse, you receive the MeranoCard free of charge. It allows you to use public transport throughout South Tyrol, including regional trains and selected cable cars.

Is there public transport nearby?

Yes, a bus stop is just a few minutes’ walk from the guesthouse. From there, there are regular connections to Merano and throughout the Merano region.

Is parking available?

Yes, free private parking is available directly at the property.

​

What is the “Erlebniskeller”?

Our historic cellar offers weekly guided experiences about South Tyrolean culture, rural traditions and the history of wine – presented in a modern yet authentic way.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, free high-speed fibre Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire guesthouse.

What are the minimum stays?

Depending on the season, the minimum stay is 5, 3 or 2 nights.

​

Are shorter stays possible?

As a small, family-run guesthouse with only a few units, shorter stays can usually only be offered at short notice (around one month before arrival).
